Job Title: SEO & Web Developer (Full-time, In-office Position)
Location: Port Said, Egypt (This is NOT a Remote Job)
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist with experience in web developing, ranging from template websites to custom designs, to join our team in Port Said, Egypt. As an integral team member, you will be responsible for optimising existing keywords and content, working on SEO , creating comprehensive reports on website performance, analysing data, and strategising to enhance our online presence, boost sales, and maintain top rankings on search engines. Your expertise in both SEO and web design will be essential in driving our digital marketing efforts forward.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing SEO strategies aimed at enhancing website visibility and organic search rankings.
Creating and maintaining Google Ads campaigns, identifying trends, and gaining insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
Conducting extensive keyword research and analysis to identify high-value, relevant keywords.
Implementing SEO best practices for on-page and off-page optimization to enhance website content, meta tags, and backlink profiles.
Conducting technical SEO audits and implementing site improvements to enhance performance, indexing, and crawlability.
Collaborating with content creators to optimise content for SEO, including keyword integration, content quality, and user experience.
Monitoring and analysing website traffic and performance data using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Generating regular SEO performance reports, communicating results to the team leader, and making data-driven improvement recommendations.
- Creating and modifying product pages and other website content.
- Developing and maintaining product listings on multiple websites.
- Troubleshooting, staying up to date and resolving any website issues.
- Maintaining and creating custom plugins, widgets, and themes.
- Content Managed Systems using WordPress and OpenCart eCommerce platforms to create and code product webpages for the online shop, plus to maintain and develop the businesses' websites.
- WordPress: competent using WooCommerce with product integration and updates with shipping costs, along with plugins, templates, widgets and themes.
- OpenCart: knowledge of products with shipping variations, payment gateway and some customer management.
- These two platforms require front end knowledge and backend experience using the cPanel file system.
- Efficient and clean coding with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with Google: Analytics; Ads; Merchant; Tag Manager; Business Manager; Developer and Cloud.
In this role, you will:
- Optimize existing keywords and content to improve search engine rankings and website visibility.
- Work on SEO and keywords to enhance website discoverability and relevance.
- Create detailed reports on SEO strategies used for all our websites and analyse their performance.
- Analyse data, interpret trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance website performance and user experience.
- Plan and strategise to ensure our websites stay on top of search engine rankings and increase sales.
- Develop strategies to adapt and adjust our SEO tactics if sales decline, aiming to improve our Google ranking and overall online presence.
- Create and analyse campaigns and PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising throughout the year, providing weekly and end-of-month reports.
- Collaborate with the team to implement effective SEO and web design solutions to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Google certification in SEO or related fields.
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in SEO, Web Development, web design, and digital marketing.
- Proficiency in web design, including template websites and custom designs.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
- Expertise in SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page/off-page optimisation.
- Experience in registering and setting up websites.
- Strong understanding of search engine-friendly website design and the ability to make critical design and technical recommendations to web developers
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive strategic decision-making.
- Experience with PPC campaigns and digital advertising.
- Advanced proficiency in SEO tools, such as SEMrush, Moz, Arefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
- Proven track record of improving organic and paid search rankings and website visibility.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and industry trends.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Passion for staying up to date with the latest developments in SEO and digital marketing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
