Job Purpose:
Responsible for system provisioning, configuration, and maintenance as part of day-to-day maintenance of the Cloud platform, storage, and operating system, such as Windows and Linux so that it can operate at an optimum level and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for system provisioning, configuration and maintenance as part of day-to-day maintenance of the Cloud platform, storage and the operating system, such as Windows and Linux so that it can operate at an optimum level and efficiency.
2. To resolve any operational issue be it Cloud related or on-premise systems that require support.
3. Must be able to operate tools for cloud storage management, construct high availability setup, and execute cloud migration.
4. Must be able to understand and optimize costs in cloud environments
5. To manage, maintain, and monitor the overall IT assets, inventory and access control to all systems and in doing so, providing an effective, reliable and secure IT environment that follows industry best practice to underpin the security of all corporate computer systems
6. To understand infrastructure requirements to build and deploy solutions on Cloud platform and to work with application team to archive this.
7. To advise and inform the Management on technical issues related to IT matters as part of the decision-making process for technical direction and procurement of new systems.
8. To ensure the integrity and security of the AKPK’s electronically held information by performing regular reviews and testing of the cloud back-up system, disaster recovery planning and input into the Business Continuity plan where appropriate.
9. To assist IT budget that conforms and aligns with its business plan, and clearly identifying any potential growth requirements.
10. Perform any other task as and when requested by supervisor / management
Requirements:
- Should have at least three to five years of experience in managing Cloud environment and infrastructure.
- Experience on Cloud related framework or project specializing in cloud technology
- Bachelor’s Degree - Technology/ IT/ Engineering
- AWS Certified SysOps administrators or other cloud administration certification will be advantageous
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
