We have an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistants to join our training team to support earn & learn Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) who will receive their training whilst on the job.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
As the ideal person for this role you will have:
- At least 3 years of HCA hospital experience, be Merit Step 2 OR have completed the in-house HCA earn & learn programme.
- Excellent communication skills
- A keen interest to support our trainee HCA’s to develop their skillsets and to complete the Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) (Health Assistance). This will include assisting with the delivery and facilitation of study days as well as supporting the practical training of the HCA trainees as they work in their clinical areas.
The HCA trainers will report to the HCA earn & learn Programme Lead and will work in a team which will also include the HCA earn & learn programme Nurse educator and HCA Trainer colleagues.
