HEAD ELF/TEAM LEADER | €13.54 per hour
Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 28 December 2023
Becoming one of Santa’s Elves is a truly magical task. It’s not just about helping children feel at ease with the wonderful experience of seeing Santa, it’s about keeping the spirit of Christmas alive which means good will, fantastic customer service and making people smile – whatever their query or request.
As a ‘Head Elf’ / Team Leader you will be responsible for the daily management of staff, ensuring that all shifts are manned appropriately in accordance with rota requirements. You will ensure that the retail shop is managed professionally and well-stocked and that high standards are adhered to throughout the Woodland Workshop.
Sometimes you may work in one of our special retail outlets or be tasked with meeting and greeting guests. The role is as diverse as it is magical, which makes it a unique experience for you.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicants will be required to undergo Garda Vetting. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period, on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
Santa’s Woodland Workshop will be running daily so you will need to be flexible to work days, evenings and weekends.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer care skills
- Previous experience working in a customer care environment
- Previous supervisory experience in a demanding environment
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Computer Literacy
- Outgoing with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Enthusiasm for the Christmas/Holiday spirit
Desirable requirements:
- Previous acting / entertainment experience
